The Villa

Zuri Cliff is one house on one plot, let only in its entirety. Two ensuite bedrooms, three bathrooms, an open living and dining room that runs straight out to the pool, and a timber deck on the cliff edge above the Indian Ocean. No reception, no neighbours, no shared grounds.

Living space

The living and dining area is a single open room facing the ocean. It is built for cross ventilation, so it stays cool through the middle of the day without shutting the house up. Doors open the full width onto the pool terrace, which is where most of the day tends to happen: breakfast, reading, a long lunch, and then the light going gold across the water.

Bedrooms

Both bedrooms are ensuite. The master opens directly to the pool and has a double vanity bathroom; the second bedroom has its own bathroom and looks out over the garden and ocean. Beds are king size, 180 × 200 cm. A separate office with a sofa bed takes the house to five guests when needed — comfortable for four, workable for five.

Pool and deck

The infinity pool sits on the cliff edge, so the water line reads against the horizon rather than against a wall. Below and beyond it, the timber deck extends over the rock. It is the part of the house guests use at both ends of the day — early, before the heat, and again after sunset, when the deck lighting comes up and the sea goes quiet.

Bathrooms

Three bathrooms for two bedrooms, which means nobody is waiting. The master bathroom has a double vanity; there is a freestanding bathtub with an ocean outlook, and a separate guest bathroom for the day rooms.

How the house is let

Zuri Cliff is let as a whole property only. There is no second party on the plot, no shared pool and no shared access. It is adults only, 18 and over. That is a deliberate choice rather than a house rule — the house was built for quiet, and quiet is the thing guests come for.
